Catching up with friends

We split up today & went in different directions to make the most of our last day in London.
Ruth & John started their day off by attending a Church Service at Westminister Abbey. They were lucky enough to score front row seats. After Church they made their way along the river to the London Eye. Where they experienced magnificent views of London.
The other four of us caught the tube to Notting Hill to find the famous door from the movie & to experience the Portobello Markets.
We then made our way to Soho & finally onto Covent Gardens.
Later in the afternoon we meet up with Adam & Fiorella at the Heron Tower. Here we ventured up to the 38th floor to be blown away by spectacular views of London. If you are thinking of dining here it has a three month wait list. Luckily we were only there for drinks.
We then caught the tube back & visited the oldest wine bar, Gordon's in London. Established in 1890 & still hugely popular.
Then onto yet another local watering hole where the boys were popular with some of the local ladies.
Our thanks to Adam & Fiorella for acting as our tour guides. A great day was had.
