Munchen

Today we boarded a train heading for Munich. We had great seats & while some played cards, the others read their books. (IPads). The trip was soon over & we arrived & walked a couple hundred metres to our Hotel. 

Once settled in we were off on once again a hop on/off bus to get an overview of this city. 

So glad we are here now as in two weeks time the city will swell with over 7 million people visiting for Oktoberfest.

We visited the famous Hofbrauhus House where we sampled some local beer while listening to the band. The service was very slow. We started on our "P" plates & only had 1/2 litre stein but will do better tomorrow. 

The girls then hit the shops for a quick look before heading back to the Hotel to freshen up.

Once all ready we ventured to the L'Osteria Kunstlerhaus where we enjoyed a lovely Italian meal in Germany.
