Messina Madness

Messina was our port of call today. We docked at 10am & was off the ship by 10.45am. We all took advantage of the free Wifi before disembarking.
We had earlier decided to do another hop on/off bus to get a feel for the place.
We are thinking the further South you go the less road rules there are. The traffic was zooming in and out & going rather fast.
Being on the lower deck of the bus we could touch the motorbike riders as they tried to weave past us. Some even waved & spoke to us, they were that close. We were very pleased for the seatbelts on the bus & all agreed we had never been on a sightseeing bus that honked their horn at the traffic. After about 10 honks we lost count as we were laughing too much.
The trip was suppose to last 50 mins & stop at several places along the way. Well we must of got the express one as it lasted
30 mins & only stopped once.
The cars double park as well as jumping partly up on the footpaths. There seems to be no rules at all in Messina.
Once back on board we had lunch & then met up for billards, a game of cards, ping pong & then a swim. (No names will be mentioned on who hit a ball overboard).
